Very impressed on my first visit here. This place is amazing. Beautifully decorated for upcoming Halloween, pretty autumn colours, wonderland. This shop has great products, yet many things you wouldn't expect to buy there. Visit is a must.!

Aesthetically pleasing from outside however. I am really disappointed with the hollies, massively underwhelming.. cheap paper cups and eating out of paper trays then having to take your rubbish to a wheely bin inside the cafe.. everything is overpriced the food is not worth the money at all.

If you’re charging people these prices then you should at least provide some table service and proper plates and cups. Tables don’t seem to get cleaned either as there’s nobody working in the actual cafe just behind the till.

Hot chocolate was tasteless and the milk had split instantly. Very cheap hot chocolate with a fancy looking topping. I had the breakfast muffin and that was enough for me to never eat there again. Over priced rubbish, whoever owns The hollies is probably sat laughing at how they’re getting away with overcharging people for such poor quality food and service. Also can’t believe the cafe is not dog friendly. Food in farm shop is average but there are many other local farm shops that are not ripping people off just so they can get pictures of the decor.

This is not a hotel !!! It is a very good food shop with a great variety of food. It also has a gift shop and a good selection of shrubs and plants. It did have an excellent cafe but it only serves takeaways now.

Have visited The Hollies a couple of times in the past (pre COVID) and was looking forward to another visit with my sister. Arrived and was really disappointed to learn that the cafe is now closed on a weekend due to it being "too busy". No option even for a takeaway coffee! Such a shame as it used to be such a treat.

On a trip back home. Decided to head for The Hollies. Monday 11.30, already packed out with smug Cheshire set, preening at their tables, wolfing down exotic heaped cream laced coffees and smash burgers. Not a spare table in sight. Gave up and drove away. Had a much nicer and altogether more delicious lunch in Stockton Heath.

Very disappointing experience today. Invited family members, who had driven a considerable long way for a lunch time snack, to find cafe closed. Told by member of staff that they could not cope with the amount of customers , so had to close cafe! Massive queues outside the farm shop. Absolutely ridiculous, apparently queuing for items advertised on social media!!! Furthermore youngsters taking selfies outside the farm shop where the queue to enter the shop was ridiculous.

Presentation excellent! Just a normal day out for a mooch however firstly the shop is so overpriced and before anyone says you only get what you pay for I totally agree. Total rip off from this FAMILY run business.

Moving through to the cafe.......order your drinks wait for your number to be called unless your standing right next to the counter you won't hear your number being whispered hence then cooler coffees. Order your average heated up food and wait at the table for your buzzer to go off. The counter was littered with people's drink orders customers asking has this number been called total and utter chaos hence tge queue being out of the door. More staff needed and someone taking responsibility for the process of ordering your drinks. It's such a shame people become greedy and inflate prices. 3 adults x coffees 3 x ciabatta with pesto mozzarella =£42 luke warm when it arrived.

It's obviously been rated 5☆ by a certain person in the public eye.

I was shocked most of it was closed. It would not have taken much to warn on the website. Only the food part and cafe open. Also there was a small sign saying not open weekends at this time. Not on the website either. So I just spent £24 on 3 coffee and 3 shortbread and left. Thank god for the recreation yard further up, now that was great.
