Absolutely terrible company with some of the WORST customer support I've ever received.

I had purchased my first Montblanc pen. And it wasn't one of their more affordable models. However, when I opened the box the display had some damage.

The actual display case (not the box, the actual desk display case) was cracked and there were unusual signs of wear and tear.

I assumed that because I had the official Montblanc warranty stamp from an authorized reseller that they'd do something about it.

Unfortunately because I only purchased my pen from a "lowly" authorized reseller who doesn't seem to be able to help me, Montblanc's customer support refuses to do anything.

They're simply passing the blame onto the authorized reseller who hasn't heard back from Montblanc in over a week.

This is easily some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I will NOT be buying another Montblanc.

Sadly, they're selling average products with terrible customer serivce.

And yes, I say AVERAGE because there are better brands out there if you want a pen that writes well.

And just to highlight what GOOD customer support looks like:

I had a similar situation with an authorized reseller and a Parker Pen, but in their case - they immediately resolved my issue with a brand new pen.

I sent pictures of the issue and their support team immediately resolved the issue with a new comparable pen of my choosing.

I didn't even ask, but Parker Pens went above and beyond.

In contrast, I spent way more on a Montblanc and got way less customer service (ie: NO customer service).

I hope this deters at least one person from buying an overpriced pen that will NOT be serviced or under a proper warranty.

Depending on the day and who you’re dealing with, the experience is different. As someone who has shopped at this location for 5+ years, the associates are almost always different. Had my handful of rude associates, and only 2 whom were helpful and kind. Their promotion sales are quite worth it, however they are very selective on who to help and extremely snotty and dismissive.

Sadly like many luxury store, they judge you based on your appearance and when I encounter the rude judgmental employee I walk right out haul my behind to Manhattan instead. I will continue to dress my basic apparel and spend money else where happily to pay full price.

I came in wanting to take a look at some backpacks. The rep that helped me, Wing (I think that was her name), was very helpful and showed me a few different styles. I really tried it out and the rep even brought out a laptop to show me that certain size laptops fit and did not hesitate to take time to show me the features of the backpack. I did want to take a look at backpacks from some other brands, so I told her I wanted to take a look at other brands and would be back if I decided to go with Montblanc backpack, and she did not seem disappointed or annoyed at all.

After looking, I did go back to buy the backpack and she was with another client, so I had to wait a short time, but I was helped promptly, and she brought out a brand new one from the back and allowed me to examine it all thoroughly to ensure I was satisfied with the backpack.

Should I want to buy anything else from Montblanc, I'll definitely check this place out again.

La experiencia que acabo de tener se llama fraude en Estados Únidos y en cualquier parte del mundo, compré un reloj Summit 2+ con la vendedora Yam Nancy el día Martes 22 de Marzo del 2022 al intentar configurar mi reloj con mi celular el reloj ya estaba configurado por lo que decidí restablecerlo de fábrica, al realizar esto resultó que el reloj solo funciona para China, como turista me es imposible volver a tomar un vuelo para que me devuelvan mi dinero, de verdad es de las más grandes decepciones que me he llevado como cliente frecuente de Montblanc, jamás pensé que esto pasara en una tienda oficial. Envío evidencia de lo que escribo!!
Le comenté que necesitaba otro reloj igual y me contacto para decirme que ya lo tenía a los dos dias, después de que le comenté lo que pasaba con este no volvió a darme respuesta.
Tengo su correo y teléfono y nada!! Espero alguien pueda darme una respuesta

Rude, pretentious, and dismissive. On Thursday, 4/19/21 around 5pm, went in to ask about recommendations for repair on one of their wallets. As I was speaking with one associate explaining my situation, another one immediately butted in, and in a rude tone of voice, started "we don't do that. Maybe it's time to buy a new one to replace it." While that may be true, that manner of voice would certainly guarantee I would spend my money elsewhere.

I understand you may not offer repair services, but the very basics of customer service is hospitality, both in your tone and in the words you choose to use. Unfortunately, they choose to alienate me and my friend, so we will no longer be spending our money with this company

I purchased a Time piece at the Montblanc store back on 10/17/18. Asked the sales associate if the time piece I was purchasing came with all of the original , carrying case, certificate of authenticity along with owners manual on how to operate the time piece!!I I was told yes by the sales associate!! it wasn’t until they collected payment for the product that they begin to tell me that the original stuff that the watch should of had Wasn’t sent by the boutique from which it came from. This is after I had signed a form stating The item was not returnable!!!! Once I began to question why The certificate of authenticity, caring case and all the original paperwork did not come with the time piece, one of the other sales associates began to make a remark by saying!!! “ well sir the item is 50% off” that remark to me was so absurd!!!! That I was on able to respond back to statement. I would be very hesitant for anyone at this time to purchase an item from this location. Unfortunately we live in a society where there is a lot of fakes being sold as original and I would question anything that is purchased at this location!! Very unprofessional sales staff and management!!!! I will be contacting montblanc customer service directly and filing a formal complaint against them in their ways and practices of business. I would recommend to everyone that will be making a purchase should do so at their local boutique to assure and guarantee certificate of authenticity!!! I feel they tried to take a vantage of all the international buyers that shop they’re!! Buyer beware!!!!
