I went in today to purchase ink for a fountain pen I just got a week ago as I did not realise it needed to be bought separately (loved the pen and the online shopping expedience along with super fast shipping)

As soon as I walked in, none of the sales representatives greeted me nor stopped their chit chat

Once I asked for help - The lady that “served” me had extremely poor costumer service, quite rude and not helpful at all unfortunately. She handed me the product without any sort of “thank you” or “here you go” , I asked for a bag, she said 1st they had none than that they only had big ones - once I reassured her I was okay with any bag, she picks up a small bag … ?‍♀️

No greeting, no smile was ever seen, no consideration, no costumer service - none whatsoever

Overall terrible experience - I definitely won't ever shop there again

I visited this boutique in the morning and it was not busy at all. I was politely greeted by Nancy, one of the Sales Associates. Nancy was very polite and knowledgeable of the products available. She allowed me to test out and try multiple pens, see and hold various leather goods, and provide history on the products. Nancy provided us with complimentary beverages during our visit. I am very happy with my purchase and experience at this Montblanc boutique.

Absolutely terrible company overall. Their products are decent, but their customer service SUCKS.

I had purchased a limited edition Meisterstuck from them for a pretty penny. This was my FIRST EVER Montblanc, but it had some damage.

The actual display case came cracked and there were unusual signs of wear and tear. I figured that because I had the official Montblanc warranty stamp that they'd do something about it.

Unfortunately because I only purchased my pen from a "lowly" authorized reseller who doesn't seem to be able to help me, Montblanc's customer support refuses to do anything.

They're simply passing the blame onto the authorized reseller.

This is easily some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I will NOT be buying another Montblanc.

Average products with terrible customer serivce.

I had a similar situation with an authorized reseller and a Parker Pen, but in their case - they immediately resolved my issue with a brand new pen.

I didn't even ask, but Parker Pens went above and beyond.

In contrast, I spent way more on a Montblanc and got way less customer service (ie: NO customer service).

I used to drop by this location regularly a decade ago when I visited NYC for regular business meetings and to visit my cousin who lives in Manhattan.

This store was close to my clients office building and my cousin's condo. So I would drop in after my meetings to browse around. The quality of the Mont Blanc leather goods are outstanding. They do stand the test of time.

I am not a big fan of their ballpoint pens however. I had a Starwalker and a Generation before and I was not impressed. Maybe the Meisterstuck pens are better. But I digress. However, their leather goods are a sure hit.

I remember the sales staff ( Brandi and Peter ? ) were rather helpful. I had no complaints back then.

My partner brought me here to buy me a pen as a special gift. He made an appointment and we were courteously received by Randy, our sales associate. He went through the features of the different pens and gave us time to make a decision. Overall a great experience, and I am over the moon with this gift!

Awful service and don’t stand behind their products. I received a defective item and they won’t honor a replacement. Rude staff only made the experience more frustrating. Not what you’d expect from a supposedly first-class level merchant. Better off getting yourself a pack of Bic pens and spend your money elsewhere.
