I talked to Adam and Drake a couple weeks ago about a new Specialized mountain bike I was looking for. I wanted my first full suspension bike. The bike a friend had told me about was the Stumpjumper Comp Alloy, unfortunately they didn’t have any in stock. They located one for me in Chicago and said they could get it for me. Rey texted me yesterday and said it was in and they could ave it built by the afternoon. I was able to pick it up after work, it was exactly what I wanted and I had had them set it up tubeless. When Adam scanned it in the price had dropped by $500.00. I couldn’t believe it, I’m glad it took a week for it to show up! I would recommend this shop, Drake and Adam, they showed a great deal of integrity and pride in what they do and the shop they work in! Thanks again I love my new bike!!!!

A great big shout out to Ben who helped steer us in the right direction and once we got to the shop, it was awesome working with Jen! My son Riley is very happy with his new rock hopper and this will be a great way for him to get around campus down at U of M. We love shopping here from start to finish today. Highly recommend!

This is my go to bike shop! Staff is very lovely and knowledgeable. Service (in the lower level) is always happy to help out with tire / tube changes & small repairs on the fly. The sales floor upstairs has a good selection of bikes in all categories, apparel (got myself a Mclain t-shirt!), nutrition, and all sorts of bits and bobs to strap to your bike. If you don't stop by when you're in Traverse, you're missing out!

Best customer service I have experienced in a long time. So friendly and helpful.
I have been to a lot of bike stores by far.
The staff at this one was 10 out of 10.

Being new to Traverse City, I didn’t know where to take my mountain bike for repairs. I found McLain Bikes and was very pleased with the service, pricing and customer service. I will definitely return for any future biking needs.

I have done business since before the shop became McClains. Have purchased 3 bikes from this shop. The sales staff is honest and straight forward about what frame, tire, style of bike you need. They do my service also and they are very professional. I recommend McClains for your next bicycle purchase.

Well I've been all over town trying to get tools and parts for my bike I have been unsuccessful until I came to McLain cycle and fitness. The staff was so super nice and helpful, and going downstairs talking to Adam having him work on a part for me was just an awesome experience I'll definitely be back later.
