These ladies know style! I walked in, was complimented on my own fashion sense, and was immediately shown around the shop and asked what I was looking for.

I saw some wonderful pieces, classic designers with extraordinary materials and textures. Unfortunately, most were not my size 🙁 I’m a 00. They did have a lot of sizes between 4-12, mostly somewhere in between.

Prices were not cheap, but they are designer so you’re expecting that. You are paying for value and quality. There are tags for items costing 3-10k, dropped down significantly so it’s worth it if you’re looking for a discount.

Inga is a worldly woman with a kind heart. We chatted about a range of topics during my time there and I was so pleased to know of the shop’s contribution to, I believe, Walter Reed.

Theres passion behind these ladies as they describe materials, designers, and origins of some of the pieces I saw. It was really cool to experience. I felt like I was in a SATC episode with Carrie Bradshaw lol.

Ended up buying a beautiful gothic looking shawl and will be wearing it today for funsies. Check this shop out !

I recently called the shop. Inga answered the phone and when I asked a question there was a moment of silence. I am African American with a southern accent. I'm not sure which one gave her a pause?. As soon as I name two of the many pieces I wanted to bring in Inga bluntly cut me off. She stated "you have to bring in fifteen pieces and we do not accept those designer". She was very rude and off putting. It appears she's of the "old" Washington era. I guess she isn't aware there's a New Day in D. C.

Yikes, Inga needs some professionalism. Recently stopped by and, as usual, felt a little out of place as a 30-ish year old in a store full of elderly ladies. But as a female physician, they have a decent selection of professional clothing. I was browsing through the size 8 rack, and an elderly saleslady (I assume Inga?) prompted me towards a different section, for “larger sizes”. As I walked towards the other rack, I heard her whisper loudly to her co-worker, “Size 8?! Who does she think she is kidding?”

Needless to say, I immediately left. Look, we all have bad days at work, but this was way out of line. I hope “Inga” can turn that frown upside down, or maybe it’s just time for her to retire.

Not only do you get great deals at this location but the proceeds for some of the sales go to support Walter Reed. But be prepared, this is not just your regular consignment shop. All of the clothes are top brand high end so even a discount is not inexpensive.

This consignment shop is one of the best I have ever visited for high end designer clothes, shoes and accessories. I bought the majority of my business clothes here. It's selection on high end shoes is the best in the city. Items tend to cater to 30 year old plus woman. There is a small men's section. As with all consignment shops it may be hit or miss as far as sizes. Love this shop. Not on a metro line but there is a bus.

I have used this store a couple of times and I always get just what I need. I am an African American woman with natural hair and both times Inga greeted me warmly, guessed my size, asked what I was looking for and helped me find it! Love this store.
