I ordered a pair of running shoes from this company and was excited to see I had managed to order the last pair available on the site of the shoes I wanted.

They arrived stained yellow on the soles and side of the shoes.

Once contacting them to resolve the issue, I stated I'd be happy to keep the shoes with some compensation considering they were in a bad condition, pretty reasonable I'd suggest.

Sadly they said they weren't able to offer than and I'd have to send the back to them myself and wouldn't be able to get a replacement as these were the last available pair.

It is a shame they knowingly tried to fleece a customer by sending their last pair with defects and faults / stains just to try make that little bit of extra cash.

I bought the new Inter shirt from Nike’s official store but they didn’t supply the (essential) Scudetto patch. I eventually got one from eBay and wanted it applied professionally. Greaves staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, doing this for a very small service charge (£5).

This shop is good, it has 80% of the sports stuff you need, especially football, but the other all are in stock, also it’s great for printing football shirts, the English clubs have the official print as Man United, but the teams outside England like Barcelona they have a cad similar print but a great print it’s like the real one just very little bit change you can see the picture of Barcelona shirt and you can search the Barcelona print it's the same, in all this shop is great and I rate it 4/5

Very surprised how unimpressed i was with this store after I was recommended it by other runners. They stock a lot of different sports gear, but, I was looking for running shoes. The person who I finally got to help me looked like I was putting him out. I felt bad asking for help and was offered zero advice when I told him what I was looking to buy. I ended up leaving as I was so uncomfortable. Thankfully there's an excellent running shoe shop just up the street and I gave them my cash for two pairs of trainers.

I was there at 12:05 on Monday 23rd. Looking to buy road and trail shoes. I wasn't sure what to buy, so I asked someone for help. I was given a pair of NB680s then the guy walked away. I ended up leaving them there after trying them.

A Glasgow institution! Best sports shop around - excellent stock coverage and the staff are well trained and knowledgeable. A little more expensive than the online and 'sale rail' retailers, but worth it for good quality products and well informed advice from the Greaves' team.

Unfortunately not impressed at all by the staff today.
My son visited the golf section today with a friend looking for a new golf putter. The team ignored him, made him feel uncomfortable whilst welcoming others. His words were ‘ they judged him’ .
As a shopper at this store for over 40 years it upsets me that you treat young well mannered customers in this way.
For him, sport is everything and you missed the opportunity to have a customer for life.

Visited to buy a badminton grip for my racquet and the customer service was great! Was approached within a few seconds and the staff was super knowledgeable and invested in getting me the most suitable grip according to my specified preferences. Will definitely be back for anything Badminton related!
