Researching ceiling fans during a heatwave…. Definitely an inspiration.

To Amazon or not…. I decided to do the ground work locally from Home Depot to upscale lighting sources, seeking a stylish yet clean-line design, most importantly QUIET. The more I questioned sales staff, the less information I got. My last option of the day was south on Dixie Highway.
Walking into Dan’s Fan City is indeed FAN CITY. Everything to do with ceiling fans under one roof:
Ceiling fans of many styles/sizes/materials, fan blades, fan lights, spare parts, remote controls, and best of all, impressive CUSTOMER CARE by two knowledgeable women to answer, inform, guide, and assist in acquiring a fan without any pressure or hype.

Everything I wanted to learn about the mechanism and more, Wendy and Lucy had answers.

Now I am a fan, too!!!

Buying a ceiling fan is a challenge: selection of motor, blade style, and light kit - can be a rather overwhelming array of options and choices. After shopping the usual lighting venues (where we were ignored or snubbed) we were delighted to find Dan's Fan City. We received expert advisement from Lucy, who helped us find precisely the fan combo that we were looking for. She was also able to recommend an expert installer (installing a ceiling fan and properly balancing it requires SKILL, folks - not for novices, trust me) who arrived on time within a couple of days, and performed a picture-perfect installation. Pricing was also spot-on, as they beat any pricing I was able to find online for the same or similar fans. Overall great experience, and a must-visit shop if you're ever in the market for a ceiling fan.

I saw online, a photo of a double fan with oak blades, iron scroll and lantern lights.
It was what I needed for our large family room.

I clicked on the photo from Dan's Fan City. I looked up their website and searched for that fan.
What an awesome, unique fan!!
I called the Miami store and spoke to a sweet salesperson.
Within 1 1/2 weeks, the fan and accessories arrived!

I ran into a snafu: the contractors must build a beam to hold the weight of the fan, so I didn't check out the contents of the boxes when they arrived in early August.

Yesterday, (November) I moved the fan and its contents to our basement.
I noticed that one of the lantern lights' glass inserts were broken.
I didn't know if I had broken it or if it was broken while being delivered.
I called the store right away, and the owner answered my call.
I explained my dilemma.
He is sending me the glass inserts today!
I'm so thankful for this store and the courteous way that I was treated!

So impressed with this company and their employees! We have purchased both indoor and outdoor fans from them, and their employees take so much time to explain their products and help you find the best fan for your space. Their knowledge is incredible and their products are far superior to any fans I've purchased before at big box stores. No comparison. Their installer, Darren, is wonderful as well! Amazing customer service, highly recommend!

Excellent Service from purchase to installation. *Five Stars* Most Excellent Service with Return! Purchased fan, once installed, realized color i picked just didn’t work ? asked for return/exchange new color and the answer was, “Yes, sure, no problem, we like our customer’s happy”.
