I’m new to Chevy Chase and quite frankly, fancy places such as this. This Store is a masterpiece. Big, Beautiful, Triumphant and Spotless.

But I just needed a pair of cargo shorts for
Hacking around. So I’m looking and looking at the merchandise and this stuff was all beautiful. But frankly, most
of it just wasn’t for me.

I’m more of a blue collar man. Enter Kim. Kim was everything you could hope for considering I’m an idiot when it comes to clothes shopping (etc…!) She even sounds and reminds me of comedian Wanda Sykes! ❤️

Kim brought me over to the Polo department and she had me try on a few pairs and together I walked out with a pair of cargo shorts that would make John Cena proud. Caroline came in at the end for a double check and I truly felt like a King.

Thank you both so much! I will be back for
More Bloomies! My new favorite store!❤️?

SHOPPING WHILE BLACK

I usually purchase all of my luxury handbags form this locations however, today, the staff was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful.

I came in and went directly to the purse that I wanted. I saw a saleswoman, Phi Phi, and I smiled at her and signaled that I wanted to purchase the bag. Phi Phi turned around and ignored me and went to chat with another employee. I waited and waited and no one came to help me. Finally, I went to another salesman, Mario for help with the bag that I wanted to purchase. There was line of customers in front of him because Phi Phi wasn’t doing anything productive. After I waited in line to speak to Mario, I told him what I wanted, he then proceeded to dismiss me, telling me to go back to Phi Phi, and tried to take the white customer behind me. The white customer behind me, had to tell Mario to help me first!! When he did, he found Phi Pho to take care of me, but she was too incompetent to do anything.

Long story short, I didn’t buy the bag. I was too disgusted with their lack of customer service and rudeness.

I will never come back to this Bloomingdale’s again.

This place is beautiful and has a great selection if you are in person BUT if you need to get someone on the phone forget it! You can’t get past the automated phone menus no department ever picks up!!!!

One of the few last remaining upscale stores. Service is top notch. A special thanks to Carolyn. She’s the most amazing person. Even if I’m not in the mood to buy something she will help me find something nice. The store is meticulously kept and it’s a true pleasure to shop there!

Ellie, counter manager at Dior, and the counter manager at Creed provided excellent customer service as I picked up a Father’s Day gift for my husband. They were patient with my daughters while I shopped and even made them little goodie bags which they loved. They also validate your parking with a purchase. Watch out for the hot bar at Whole Foods which is in the same parking garage. I paid $17.00 for two small boxes of food for my kids and a bottle of water.
