Pura Vida Divers is absolutely incredible! I completed my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications here, and every part of the experience exceeded my expectations. Tally was an outstanding instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process enjoyable and confidence-building.

The entire team goes above and beyond to create an amazing diving experience. Whether it was training or recreational dives, everything is well-organized, safe, and fun.

If you’re considering diving or getting certified, I can’t recommend Pura Vida Divers enough. They truly love what they do, and it shows in every detail. Thank you for helping me fall in love with diving again!

I had another great experience with them for the books! I signed up for a specialty class and the scheduler was very helpful to get the requirements into the time I had free. I was assigned an instructor that I had not met and he was fabulous! If you need any training, Jorge Flores is your man. He was kind, patient and went above and beyond. As always the captain ?and crew were great.

I had a great time diving with Pura Vida this week. The boat is in great shape and the crew did an excellent job the entire day. They were very safety conscious, attentive to every diver, organized, nice and fun to be around. A dive guide was in the water for both dives, and they did a great job. They made it easy and safe for everyone. I have been diving in south Florida for 20 years and would recommend PVD to anyone.

I did my PADI reactivation with Jorge and he was just great! Calm, funny, covered the skills I needed brushing up on in a concise, easy to remember way, and made sure to go over the things that have changed since I was first certified over 16 years ago.

The recert dive itself was great, we covered inwater skills quickly and efficiently and he met me on my level. 10/10 recommend.

My girlfriend and I couldn’t have stumbled upon a better Dive shop. I would say the best. We think of Pura Vida Divers as our home Dive Shop. We have done our Open Water, Nitrox, and Advanced Open Water classes at Pura Vida Divers. Our experience was fantastic. Every part of our experience was great: Reservations, Gear Consultation, PADI Instructors, and Dive Charter Crews.

Every part of the team made sure we were taken care of, and had a great experience.

Juan Bousquet was very patient, kind, knowledgeable, and fun teaching us to become open water divers. We walked away with great skills and confident divers.

Jorge Flores was also extremely knowledgeable, patient, fun and enthusiastic who sharpened our skills to become Advanced Open Water/Nitrox divers.

Justin Newton answered all our gear question, ordered everything we needed, and set it all up. He made the extra effort to meet us before our dive, and go over all our new gear with us.

There are so many more names I am forgetting here. I want to name the whole shop!! Shana, Tina, Amber, Nicole, Nico, Jason, Aaron, Dean.

Excellent dive operation. The shop itself is large, beautiful and well stocked, and the staff very helpful. We had a class for nitrox certification with Bonnie. She was an excellent teacher, and she later joined us as our private dive guide on two tank deep dives. Well recommended. The dive crew was clear in its instructions, very helpful with gear and overall a pleasure to dive with. I will come here again. The big bonus was seeing goliath groupers!

I had a great time diving with Pura Vida Divers! I did the Blue Heron Bridge dive and Goliath Grouper dives with them and hired a private guide for both. I am so glad I did since it was my first time diving in the area, and I did not have a buddy. Alaina and I had a beautiful night dive at Blue Heron Bridge! Christian was great to dive with on the Goliath Grouper dives and knew his was around the wrecks, allowing me to fully enjoy the dives! Captain Jason and all the boat crew not only made the day extremely fun, but it was evident safety was a priority with thorough boat and dive briefings. I can’t wait to get back to dive with them again and recommend you do too.
