An absolutely wonderful bed and breakfast. Cristal is an excellent host providing exceptional hospitality and friendliness. Our room for the 2-night stay was spacious. Shower was good. Breakfast was excellent. The garden terrace and pool afford a great view of the Molise countryside. It is quiet and tranquil. You see and feel no commercial intrusions. It feels like stepping into a bygone era, but with all modern conveniences. We loved it here.

Plus: Hospitality, breakfast, view, tranquility. Cristal is very caring and she makes you feel special. So giving.

Good to know: Stairs to room are a bit steep. The roads leading to Casa Cristina are narrow. Ripabottoni has 2 small stores that sell fresh bread,cheese, and a nice assortment of pantry items and a small selection of fresh produce to create a wonderful meal. The shop keepers were very friendly. There is also a tavern.

Come sempre... tutto perfetto. Per chi è alla ricerca di assoluto relax è consigliatissimo. Rinfrescarsi nella splendida piscina, prendere il sole a bordo piscina e la sera goderti un bicchiere di un buon vino ammirando la splendida vegetazione caratteristica di queste zone.

This is a meticulously restored historic building. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment - amazing stone walls and wood beams with all the modern amenities possible. Immaculate, lovingly furnished. And a view that takes your breathe away. A magnificent swimming pool hanging off a cliff. Felt like we were sitting on a cloud. The physical site is wonderful but the true gem is the lovely lady that runs this piece of heave. Christal is charming and an amazing hostess. She can also plan anything you could think of to do and all of them are perfectly organized and the best of that type of activity. She comes with you and translates as well as adding to the pleasure of the day. We did two cooking classes, went horseback riding, did three historic cruises and a day of off road exploring. I look very forward to going back to this little piece of paradise in an area that many more people should see.

My wife and I had often heard that a woman from northern Europe had bought an old part of the ancient town of Ripabottoni and converted what was a defensive wall into an incredibly beautiful bed and breakfast. What a wonder this place is. It looks out on unspoiled countryside, has a large swimming pool, and internal rooms that are in what were once arched dwelling places built right into the ancient walls. I can't begin to estimate the investment in transforming what must have been a ruin into such a marvel. We would highly recommend a visit and a stay. This is the authentic Italy that seems so out of reach. To be sure, Ripabottoni is a quiet place, but the people were very friendly and interested in visitors from the outside world. This part of Molise is an absolute treasure. If you like culture, good food, and want to immerse yourself in the language and lore of this forgotten part of the world, come here. It is NOT for the average tourist. It is for men and women (and families) of some sophistication who have tired of the normal tourist destinations filled to overflowing with "stranieri" (strangers). In some ways it is like a trip into the past. One of the great experiences is meeting Christina herself. She is a woman who has adventured and taken the opportunity to create a dream like world for herself far from her native land. We plan to return to enjoy the place and talk with Christina and her friends.

Wonderful place! On the edge of town and very quiet. Impeccable garden. The host is a warm , caring and energetic woman with whom we had the opportunity to converse at length. We came in search of my husband's ancestry and stayed a few days. |The place has a very well shaded breakfast area and a fantastic swimming pool.|
