I have had several guitars set up by Jimmy Egypts over the years - including acoustics, electrics, re-frets, repairs and modifications and I have always been delighted with the results. Today I picked up my trusty 35 year-old strat, after a service and modifications to the pickups wiring, and I am very pleased as always - it’s like having a new guitar. Jimmy, Dan and Evan have all done work for me and they all work to the same high and exacting standards, clearly taking great pride in their work. The shop is fantastic too and you could easily lose hours browsing the wide range of guitars, amps and accessories to suit every budget. The staff are all very friendly, helpful, (and patient) and their enthusiasm for all things guitar related is obvious - whether buying a new guitar or just looking for some advice ! Highly recommended.

A magic shop that brings out your inner rock star. Great customer service & advice. Will definitely recommend them and loved the choice of guitars.

(As a side note we were all so excited at buying the guitar, that we left something at the shop by mistake. We called them late on Saturday on the off chance they were still there, ...and they kindly waited over 30mins past their closing time (sorry!) so that we could get back to collect it before heading home (saving us a 160 mile round trip).) Wow!

Really good, honest company. I've never bought a guitar unseen, but they were great. Ordered earlier this year. My new Furch cross-over arrived on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. They fitted a pick-up for me, really tidy job. I love the guitar. I recently got in touch again as I needed a capo, they helped with that and gave a bit discount as I'd bought my guitar from them. Amazing service! Put my Tele into Jimmy's to get fret work done, tuning machines fixed and a setup. The guitar is playing amazing now and feels a million times better than it ever has. Jimmy's very knowledgeable and a gentleman, he spoke me through the full process and also advised I have the saddles swapped out (as I put a set on that weren't the right size) now the action and intonation is perfect. This will be my go to shop for music gear and any work I need done on my instruments. 10/10 experience!

I want to give my thanks to Jimmy Egypt. having recently bought the Phil Jones Bass Nano X4 35 watt combo from them. The price was extremely competitive and below ANY of 'the big boys', UK shipping was included in the price and the combo was delivered within a couple of days.

The combo is astonishing for its size. I can carry it with one hand, the sound is fantastic and it can also be used for other instruments including guitar, ukulele, violin, and electronic drums (!).

Great service and really friendly and accommodating! I was needing a strap lock re-installed and a general set up as I'm away on a contract for 6 months. The online chat service works great, they'll respond quickly and everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. It was Dan who took care of my guitar - he sorted it in time for my gig this week which was really appreciated and the guitar's looking, feeling and sounding great. (Especially for a cheap bit of kit!)
