Super cool little gun shop. Personally I don't agree with some of the bad reviews about customer service here. To me, Sonny has always been friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all things related to firearms, accessories and gun ownership. And its just a cool little store with all sorts of items both essential and unique that you wont find in the big box stores. Like any small business you might pay a little more for some things and get a great deal on others. As far as folks sitting around the store, yeah that happens. Why, probably because people like to come in and chat with Sonny because hes an interesting person. Whatever... he will give full attention to his customers first. My opinion... whether you are looking to become a first time gun owner or you are a seasoned firearm aficionado or you just have questions, check out this shop. And help to support an essential small business in Muskegon.

Was passing through town and noticed this shop. Decided to turn around and pop in. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great conversation and got to look at some great items that Illinois told me are bad (a girl can dream!). I saw a previous review about being from Illinois and being mad about them not selling some mags to them… there are many places that as soon as they see IL they won’t sell. Why would they potentially risk their shop to sell you a $20 mag? Whatever, I had a great experience and if I’m ever passing through I will be stopping back in.

I had Kathy as a private instructor. She was very informative and eager to help and answer any questions. Shooters was a very nice place, had a good selection of pistols to try out. I’ll be going back after my eye heals from surgery!

Talk to a guy on the phone from here about selling my M&P 15 sport and he said he could give me 300 for it so I drove there. At the store he said he would have to pass as he said they just aren't selling. Wasted my time and gas going there. I'm very disappointed.

Friday March 28th I attempted to go to purchase some ammo and possibly a new gun. Store hours listed online 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I arrived at 10:30 the sign on the door said open the locks were off the door but the door was locked. Not a very good way to do business and a real good way to lose a customer.

I came in to buy 10rd mags as they are recently sold out all over my state. I was immediately told by one of the 5 fudds sitting in a circle chatting that I am from Illinois and my business is not welcome there. Good to know...

Bought a few guns from sonny over the past several years and always got a fair deal on a good gun. One minor issue I ran into with an AK I purchased and he offered to fix free of charge for the unexpected mishap. Nice people, good gunshop.

Not a bad little store. Has a small, but varied, assortment of different types of guns. ARs, 22s, shotguns, pistols, etc. Not all one type like some stores. Also has some reloading supplies (6-8 kinds of shotgun wads, different brands of primers, several different powders). Very nice and helpful staff. I wouldn't go WAY out of my way to visit, but if you are close by its worth a stop.
